A group of volunteer patients, carers and surgery staff who meet regularly to discuss and support the running of the surgery.
Patient Participation Groups look at the services offered, patient experience and how improvements can be made for the benefit of everyone.
Each Patient Participation Group is different, but they all have the aim of making sure that the surgery puts the patient, and improving health, at the heart of everything it does.
The surgery’s Patients Participation Group was established March 2019, where patients, members of the medical staff and the practice manager are able to meet quarterly to discuss matters relating to the surgery.
The aims of the group are:
- To improve communication between the practice and the patients.
- To exchange information and ideas.
- To discuss recent or future developments which involve the practice and its patients.
- To consider patients concerns, comments or suggestions about the quality of the service provided and what improvements can be made.
All patients of the practice are eligible to join the Patient Participation Group, so if you are enthusiastic about the surgery and have a few hours to spare each quarter please think about becoming a member of your PPG.

Patient survey
We would be grateful if you would complete this survey about your doctor and general practice. They want to provide the highest standard of care. A summary from this survey will be fed back to them to help them identify areas for improvement.
Your opinions are very valuable. Please answer all the questions you can. There are no right or wrong answers and your doctor will not be able to identify your individual answers.
